Backgound |
Fractalkine (FKN) is a transmembrane mucin-chemokine hybrid molecule expressed on activated endothelium that mediates attachment and firm adhesion of T cells, monocytes and NK cells. FKN plays an important proinflammatory role in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pathogenesis as characterized by induction of synovial angiogenesis, chemotaxis, activation of monocytes and T cells as well as the stimulation of proliferation and synthesis of matrix degrading enzymes in synovial fibroblasts. |
Storage |
Store at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Shipping Condition |
In general, the proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. They are shipped out in dry ice if supplied in liquid form. |
