Ordering Information

With the development of recombinant DNA or recombinant RNA technology, an increasing number of recombinant proteins have been obtained. The most active gene fragment of the protein is intercepted and cloned, and inserted into the recipient cell for continuous propagation, then the expressed protein is separated and purified to obtain recombinant protein. The recombinant proteins will be more active than the normal proteins.

In the medicine industry, most human diseases are systemically or partially related to the dysfunction of specific proteins. Therapeutic proteins provide important therapies for a variety of diseases, such as diabetes, cancer, infectious diseases, hemophilia, and anemia. Common therapeutic proteins include antibodies, FC fusion proteins, hormones, interleukins, enzymes, and anticoagulants.

Recombinant proteins are useful tools in understanding protein-protein, protein-antibody interactions. Recombinant proteins are most widely used in many applications, like Western Blot, ELISA, IHC, SPR, etc. Recombinant proteins can be also used to develop enzymatic assays. When used in conjunction with a matched antibody pair, recombinant proteins can be used as standards such as ELISA standards. Moreover, recombinant proteins can be used as positive controls in Western blots.

The recombinant proteins belong to different protein families, such as the protein kinase family, G-protein coupled receptor family, cc chemokine family, protein tyrosine family, intermediate filament family, heparin-binding growth factor family, serpin family and so on. They have different domains and different functions.

For example, protein kinases are enzymes that regulate the biological activity of proteins by phosphorylation of specific amino acids with ATP as the source of phosphate, thereby inducing a conformational change from an inactive to an active form of the protein. G-protein coupled receptors (GPRs) are a family of seven transmembrane receptors, which play an important role in the response to peptide hormones, neurotransmitters, and free fatty acids. GPRs account for more than 1% of the total human genome.

Alpha Lifetech Inc. has established a complete technology platform for protein expression, fermentation, protein testing and pilot-scale processes. Combining our existing four major protein platforms: Prokaryotic Protein Expression Platform, Mammalian Protein Expression Platform, Yeast Protein Expression Platform and Insect Cell Protein Expression platform, we have developed thousands of recombinant proteins, and the product catalog covers immune checkpoint proteins, biotin-labeled proteins, antibody biosimilar target proteins, CAR-T cell therapeutic target proteins, Fc receptors, influenza viruses, infectious viruses and other protein research areas.

All protein reagents provided by Alpha Lifetech Inc. have been tested by strict quality control, and are characterized by low endotoxin, high purity and high activity. At the same time, Alpha Lifetech Inc. can also provide customized buffers and other services according to customers' different requirements. Alpha Lifetech Inc. is committed to providing high-quality recombinant protein products for scientific and industrial customers, the regular size like 50ug,100ug,500ug are provided for research purposes. Based on the capacity of our fermentation instruments (5L,10L, 15L), bulk sizes are also available to worldwide industrial customers.
