Sales & Account Manager

 

Position Description:

 

The primary mission of the Sales and Account Manager is to grow the business while developing and strengthening partnerships in a Business to Business selling and account management environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

* Manage and grow potential of existing client portfolio through regular interactions, meetings and calls.

* Secure and nurture long-term partnerships with designated client portfolio.

* Monitor, report, elevate and develop solutions on customer satisfaction initiatives.

* Provide thorough and prompt customer follow up and follow through.

* Organize regular Business Review, Quality, Technical and other cross-functional meetings.

* Apply effective collaboration skills with global stakeholders and partners such as site Customer Service, Supply Chain, lab. in support of Customer goals.

* Prepare, update and challenge customer forecasts and financial plans.

* Actively participate in the preparation, negotiation and enforcement of relevant legal agreements.

 

Preferred Education/Experience:

 

* A Master degree in a biotech-related area.

* Proven experience in a sales position.

* Effective oral and written communication skills.

* In depth product and territory knowledge within the recombinant protein expression, antibody production or therapeutic marketplace.

 

Abilities:

 

* Communicates (verbally and in writing) effectively internally & externally.

* Handles questions well in highly visible, adversarial situations.
