█ Description
We offer a comprehensive list of basic, coated, functional and conjugated silica particles with uniform size and shapes. Basic silica particles have a hydrophilic surface with terminal Si-OH bonds, which are highly stable in organic solvents and aqueous buffers. By precisely surface engineering, silica particles are either functionalized with active groups such as carboxyl, amine and NHS, or conjugated with a variety of biological ligands and fluorophores.
The silica magnetic particles are produced by hydrolysis of orthosilicates in the presence of magnetite and have a hydrophilic surface with terminal Si-OH-bonds and can easily be separated with conventional permanent magnets. They are extremely stable in organic solvents and at high temperatures.
